Feeding Scheme
Do you feed my child?
The National School Nutrition Programme (NSNP) is a national school feeding scheme that feeds learners nutritious meals every day at school. The objective, to improve their ability to learn.
Unemployed parents of learners in the school, mostly women, are recruited and appointed by the SGB as volunteer food handlers. It was the Food Handlers’ responsibility to prepare the food for the learners.
